Elizabeth Owen
Elizabeth specializes in probate and estate planning law and she is board certified in these practice areas. She represents clients in creating and completing practical estate plans customized for each client’s unique needs and objectives. Additionally, she advises clients in the handling of decedent’s estates, providing representation of the client in their role as beneficiary, executor, administrator, or trustee, as indicated by the specific situation. Elizabeth is a solo practitioner having previously practiced with Owen & Bogart, in her hometown of Elgin, Texas, for almost twenty years where she developed her current practice working in the estate planning and probate area, including litigation through trial and appeal. Previously, Elizabeth was a tax litigator for six years with the Office of Chief Counsel in Austin representing the Internal Revenue Service before the United States Tax Court.
